Well, 3 zoom calls, 2 person to person meetings and lunch out! This retirement lark is quite busy!

Up early mainly because I just love the quiet and time to think and plan first thing. A nice leisurely breakfast with a bit of social media….lovely! And then off we go! It was great to chat to Hattie from Pulsin and Tina from Manor by the Lake as they had chosen Pied Piper as their Charity of the year but what could they do when they are not together with their teams in their offices?! We are devising a plan! We have the Santa Fun Run on December 6th at the Pittville Pump Room and we are having a SMART 100 Christmas Raffle sponsored by Smart Communications with some amazing prizes including a first prize of £500 in cash a week before Christmas donated by Barry Chandler…..Hopefully that is an eye catcher!! And we are planning a Bountiful Black Friday Bonanza!

We think we may have found a van for Chelt Open Door with go faster stripes and I had the most delicious tomato soup With Christina at No3 in the Royal Crescent. I must say Great Waiters!! and the food was #delish

I had lunch and 2 meetings in Cheltenham and then a zoom call in the middle so thanks to Nigel & Paul for looking after me at First Solutions. Plush office and great tea with super WiFi….I could get used to it!! Ooooh and a parking space!

It was lovely to meet DRE at Dean Close House for my final meeting and exciting to be launching the Julie Kent Foundation Award again. We started it at the beginning of last year but then the pandemic took over and it did not seem appropriate to continue whilst people were shielding their relatives and managing their work and families, but we are hoping to get to the target now….My aim was to put a young person through Dean Close as a boarding pupil. I feel really strongly that it is an amazing opportunity for someone to have access to new activities, top class teachers and the ability to live with others from many different cultures in beautiful Cheltenham. So we are relaunching…Here is the film

To sign up to the 30 for 30 or give a one off donation please get in touch. We have a lovely girl starting this term and we want her to enjoy and flourish at Dean Close.

It’s only Wednesday!! Phew!! I am loving Life!!
